Fathom’s Creative Director leads and develops our team of skilled and dedicated marketers in the creative field (copywriting, content, design and CRO/UX). As Creative Director for a digital marketing agency, this person must also have a strong understanding of both brand development and integrated marketing solutions. In other words, demonstrating expertise, pitching innovative ideas and communicating results to clients and prospects should be second nature to you.

The Creative Director participates in the planning of effective campaigns, oversees the creative process and gives guidance to the creative team. Our ideal candidate has excellent leadership skills and vision, allowing them to maximize the talent of the creative team.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Walk the walk by clearly demonstrating knowledge in the creative field as it relates to digital marketing, based on experience and proven client success
  • Talk the talk through strong interpersonal and communication skills. We’re looking for a visionary leader who can clearly communicate strategies and plans to clients in a manner that spurs action
  • Balance project outcomes and professional relationships, leading multiple large-scale initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring superior quality throughout
  • Possess outstanding leadership skills demonstrated by excellent communication, presentation skills and enthusiasm to take on challenging initiatives
  • Invite collaboration with our team of digital analysts to implement and consult on creative efforts
  • Have a passion for connecting the creative and analytical sides of marketing to test, measure and communicate performance
  • Work hand in hand with account teams and within other areas of the business to ensure alignment
  • Be a stickler for consistent excellence among the agency’s brand presentation
  • Support sales efforts and continually educate Client Services on creative and its impact for clients
  • Welcome evolution, demonstrating experience with change management processes both internally and externally
  • Directly support, manage and grow a diverse team of creative experts

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or brand marketing
  • 2+ years of management/team leadership experience  
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Portfolio of work that displays an ability to turn an idea/concept into a visual piece
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and creative tools
  • Experience with a variety of software, including Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
  • Experience using CRO/UX tools such as CrazyEgg, Digioh, VWO, etc.
